NEWS: 2020 Tucson Bicycle Classic Canceled

Steve Bohn, founder and promoter of the Tucson Bicycle Classic (Mar. 13-15), announced the cancellation of the three-day stage race after 34 years. He cited the “lack of commitment from the local cycling community, USA Cycling teams, and dismal staff volunteer response.”

Ironically, Bohn reported having a title sponsor for 2020, the first time in five years. He hopes the race will return in 2021 “provided a committed team/organization and staff can come forward.”
