For events occurring prior to August 1, 2020, either the top seven (7) finishers or the top 65% finishers in an age group (whichever is greater) in the sprint distance race listed below will qualify for the 2020 Sprint Distance Age Group National Championships. Competitors must race the sprint distance triathlon at the events; no other other distance or discipline at a Regional Championships will allow for the Sprint qualification.
New for 2020, the Sprint and Olympic-Distance Regional Championships will qualify the top 25% of finishers in an age group for All-Region status.
